Annual Heroes With Heart Dinner

Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) is a national voluntary non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that those who are emotionally traumatized in emergency situations receive the assistance they need. Our volunteers complete a 32-hour training program over the course of two weeks, followed by a 3-month field training. While this level of training is imperative to providing our volunteers with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide on-scene support, it is applicable to all levels of trauma and grief intervention. Our community training provides an introduction to the five emotional first aid skills: Reaching out, Protecting, Reassuring, Organizing, and Reinforcing; in addition to valuable knowledge that will better enable you to provide support to individuals impacted by trauma/loss.

Join us in honoring our Heroes…the angels among us.
