The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) was established in 1989 as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate support to those emotionally traumatized by crisis events. Today, our founder, Wayne Fortin continues to lead TIP. He oversees 18 regional Chapters which serve over 75 cities, 100 hospitals, 67 police departments, and 55 fire departments. TIP is the largest operator of emergency services volunteer programs in the nation. TIP has been very popular with emergency service personnel and has been featured in numerous media outlets, including print media, magazines, and network television.
